They all entered the limo and seated themselves down comfortably.
"I hope you all had an enjoyable flight" said Mr Reed.
"Define enjoyable." said Erin with some sarcasm.
"Alright so now we are all going to my house to train. You will learn everything about magic, sports and changing your wand." said Mr Reed. "So here is the schedule we will be following." Then he passed round some pieces of paper.
Schedule:
8am-9am: Breakfast
9am-12pm: Practice wand changing (means change pendant to staff and wand)
12pm-12.30pm: Break
12.30pm-1.30pm: Lunch
1.30pm-4.30pm: Learning Hogwarts subjects
4.30pm-7.30pm: Sports, languages and other relevant subjects
7.30pm-8.30pm: Dinner
The rest of the time belongs to you for the night but it would be best to sleep by 12 midnight.
"I hope you will have fun learning magic and have an enjoyable stay at my house." said Mr Reed with his Cheshire cat smile. After about 45 minutes, the car stopped at a big blue mansion which had 3 stories. The house was surrounded by fields and it was even her near the sea. It was beautiful.
"You can practice magic in the fields as I have set up some invisible barriers and no one would be able to see you." said Mr Reed.
"This house is different from the one we went to. Does all this land belong to you?" said Syusuke.
"Well the other house was my summer house but this is the house I use most of the time and yes all this land does belong to me. It includes the field and part of the beach." said Mr Reed.
"You sure are rich." said Matt.
"Why thank you." said Mr Reed.
As they walked to the wooden front doors, it suddenly opened and showed a lady with very dark pink hair.
"HELLO AND WELCOME!" she practically shouted in a very hyperactive and friendly voice. It surprised some people.
"This is Faith Moon and behind her is Peace Sun." said Mr Reed. Soon a dark purple bear-like soft toy with white wings appeared from the shadows.
'Peace looks a lot like Love and so does Faith with Hope.' thought Grace. 'Besides that they have the same surname. I wonder.'
"Brother, where are you?' said both Faith and Love.
"BROTHER???" said Grace shocked. Love emerged from Grace's bag looking all happy and excited and so did Faith while Hope and Peace looked as if he was not going whatever was about to happen next. Both Love and Faith went to hug Peace and Hope respectively. They practically squeezed them till they had no air and were able to faint. Grace was still in shock.
"Now Love and Faith your brothers are able to faint. I think that's enough of a greeting. We have other guests here too." They stopped 'hugging' them. "I know all of you are wondering who this people are but first you should unpack. Your room door would have your name on it. All the rooms are on the second and third floors and all your bags are already in your rooms. Your rooms are just up these stairs. Have fun unpacking." said Mr Reed. They all left to find their rooms.
While everyone was upstairs, Love, Peace, Hope and Faith all changed into their true forms. Both Peace and Faith had white wings similar to those of Love's and Hope's. Peace transformed into a dark purple leopard with a red gem on his forehead. Faith looked exactly the same except she had some of her hair tied into two buns at the side of her head with the rest of her hair flowing down and she had on light pink robes with purple gems sewed on her gloves.
"Clow what are we going to do? Shall we tell them of the prophecy?" said Hope.
"We will. However, not now." said Mr Reed.
"We promise to keep it a secret." said Peace and the rest nodded.
"Alright. How about we prepare some biscuits and tea and our talk later." said Mr Reed. With that they left.
Upstairs everyone was scrambling around, shouting and trying to find their room. After about fifteen minutes of running around, they each found their rooms. These are the arrangements. Each floor has eight rooms. On the second floor, we have Grace, Syusuke, Yuuta, Kimiko, Kunimitsu, Erin, Jake and Lene. (They are all next to each other in this order. Grace and Lene's rooms are next to the stairs.) On the third floor we have David, Laura, Jewel, Carol, Teri, Sk and Matt. There is one last room on the third floor and it had on word 'Guardians' written on the plaque on the door. Everyone wondered who the room belonged to. These rooms were special. They react to your feelings so they will change from time to time. They would also change colour to what you wanted them to be. They all spent the next half an hour packing and soon they were all in the living room seated and having some tea and biscuits.
"I hope all of you like your rooms. You are probably wondering who or what these things are." said Mr Reed. "Well, they are mine and Grace's guardians. Grace would you talk out the book and necklace. Would you mind showing them your staff as well." said Mr Reed.
"Key of the stars, with powers burning bright. I, Grace command you to aid me in my quest. Release" said Grace. Her necklace shone and it grew it into a staff. Then Mr Reed changed his staff too however without any incantations. It was gold in colour with a sun that had rays of different lengths.
"Sugei. Grace nee-chan I didn't know you could do that." said Yuuta.
"Thanks Yuuta. But Mr Reed how come I am the only one who has guardians." asked Grace.
"Well you are the card mistress and these guardians come with the package. I made them and Peace and Faith too." said Mr Reed. "You will be able to make your own guardians but it takes a very high level of sorcery to do it. So for now just concentrate on the powers you have."
"Grace the card mistress and sorcerer and Syusuke the controller of dark and light. The Elements. Cherylene who controls fire, Siok Hoon who controls water, Carol who controls earth, Jewel who controls wind, Laura who controls metal and David who control lightning. Erin and Jake the twins who control the powers to melt and to freeze respectively. Yuuta the healer, Kimiko who controls animals, Kunimitsu who controls the weather, Teri the one who can read people's hearts and minds and Matt the medium who can control ghosts and spirits." said Mr Reed.
"I almost forgot. Syusuke you have your own guardians as well." said Mr Reed. Then he took out a white and black book that looked similar to Grace's. "Here, this belongs to you."
Syusuke took it and put his key in the imprint. Soon the whole room shone. There were two incantations. He read the first one.
"Key of light and darkness,
With powers of ying and yang.
I, Syusuke command you
To aid me in my quest.
Release"
His pendant grew till it was about a head taller than him. It had a ying yang symbol and behind it was a golden sun and below it was a silver moon. The staff itself was cerulean blue like his eyes. Then he read the next incantation.
"Ying and Yang
Come and help your master.
I call upon you at this hour,
Come forth."
Then one set of white wings and another of black wings appeared. The white wings revealed a male black leopard with a white gem on its forehead and the black wings revealed a woman with short white hair which was dressed in traditional chinese robes that were white in colour with black gems on her gloves.
"Master I am Ying while this yang." said the woman. Her character resembled that of Faith while Yang's resembled that of Peace. Everyone was shocked.
"Hello and but please call me Syusuke." He said with a smile.
"I know everyone feels a little left out but I can help you to make some sprites. Sprites are small and they have they same power as you and they will increase your special power. They will be under your command and they will grow as your powers develop. They are not as strong as guardians but they will be good enough for you. They will also react to your feelings. So when you are happy, they will be too." said Mr Reed. "Classes will start tomorrow so you have the rest of the day to yourself. You may rest or you may explore the grounds but do not go beyond the barrier. Remember lunch is at 1.30pm so come back by then." said Mr Reed.
Some went to explore the fields and the beach while others went to rest from the long journey. Some went to do things they needed to do or wanted to do.
"Mr Reed, do you have a tennis court?" asked Syusuke.
"I think there is one at the side of the house." said Mr Reed.
"Was there one. I did not see one." said Yuuta. They all shrugged.
"Syusuke do you play tennis?" asked Yang.
"Yes I do. Would you like to see?" replied Syusuke.
"Cool. I want to see." said Ying. So Syusuke, Yuuta, Kunimitsu and the two guardians went to play tennis and indeed there was a court at the side of the house.
Later Grace changed into shorts and a T-shirt. She had asked Lene and Teri to practice but they wanted to explore the fields. So Grace together with Love and Hope went to the fields and found a secluded place and started to practice her martial arts. (Must not get rusty) She practiced her moves with swords. Love and Hope helped her to train. Love was able to breathe fire out of her mouth and Hope was able to throw magic crystals and shoot arrows. Both there aims were very good. Grace got some injuries but bandaged them up and continued practicing.
David wanted to sleep and Matt was not felling well so both were in their rooms. The rest went to explore the fields and beach. The fields were filled with beautiful flowers. There were carnations, roses, tulips, daisy and flowers of all shapes and colours. At the beach you could see the tide come and go. You come even take a swim but not too far out.
At the tennis courts, Syusuke and Kunimitsu were playing a match while Yuuta and the guardians watched. As usual Kunimitsu was winning. He had just missed a ball and it rolled down the field. It rolled to where Grace was doing martial arts. Syusuke went to retrieve the ball since he was the one who missed it.
'What is she doing?' Syusuke thought as he neared her.
"Grace a tennis ball." said Love.
"I can guess who it belongs to." said Grace. "Here he comes."
"So you can actually be graceful. Unbelievable." said Syusuke.
"Well, whatever. Just take your ball and get lost." said Grace through gritted teeth.
"Why don't you play a game with me unless you are afraid." said Syusuke provoking her.
"I ain't. I know I haven't played for a long time but you're on." said Grace. As they walked on the court, Yuuta threw her his racket.
"Thanks Yuuta" said Grace. She nodded. They started to play. After half an hour, the score was at 5-4 with Syusuke leading. It was match point for Syusuke. By then, everyone was around the court watching the heated battle and even their guardians were cheering for them. Syusuke hit his tsubame gaeshi (swallow's return) and that earned him his victory. It was a tough fight for Syusuke since Grace was stronger from all the training she did. Then they went to shake hands and then Syusuke noticed that she was bleeding.
"Yuuta come here." said Syusuke.
"What is it aniki?" said Yuuta.
"She is bleeding. Heal her." Yuuta saw that Grace's arm was bleeding so he quickly put his hand over the places that were injured and his hand started to glow. Yuuta was only able to heal small wounds as he was still practicing. As for the major injuries, it was a big no no. His powers also did not allow him to heal diseases. Grace had a major cut on her right arm but Yuuta was not able to close it.
"Come her." said Syusuke as she pulled Grace inside the house. Grace tried to loosen his grip but he was too strong. He got some bandages and properly wrapped it around her arm.
