'I can't forgive yourself till you have proven yourself to me that you are a trustworthy friend.' thought Grace. 'I know Mr Reed said that I had to believe in you but not yet. I can't.' With that, they both went back to sleep.
The next day at breakfast, Mr Reed told them all about the threat. When he finished his breakfast, he apparated away to fetch the trio.
After about half an hour, he was back with the three of them in tow. He let them settle into the guest rooms on the first floor and laid down some rules. They were done within an hour and went to explore the place. Harry and Hermoine went off alone and left Ron by himself.
"Great now I am left by myself. I wonder where this leads to." said Ron as he opened a pair of wooden doors. It was the brown-eyed girl, Carol he saw at the ice parlour. She was painting the scene she saw out the window.
'Wow. The painting is beautiful.' he thought. 'But not as beautiful as her. 'What am I thinking.' At that moment Carol turned around after listening to his thoughts.
"Hello Ron. What are you doing here?" asked Carol in a shy voice as she was still a little embarrassed.
"Well I was walking around and trying to explore the place. Its bloody big don't you think so." Carol nodded. "I kind of got lost. Hey why are your cheeks red?"
"Oh..erm...n.not..thing's wr..rong. Jus..st a little wa..arm that's all." Carol stuttered. "Anyway weren't you saying that you were lost? Would you like to me to show you around?" asked Carol.
"Yes, please." said Ron. 'Anything just to be with you.' thought Ron. 'Bloody hell what am I thinking?' At that moment Carol turned around to prevent him from seeing her blushing face.
"Let me finish the painting. I am almost done. After that I can show you around. Alright." said Carol and she went back to painting.
"That's fine." said Ron. 'As long as I am near you.' he thought. 'She is so beautiful. If only see were mine.' At that moment he gave a sigh making Carol blush even more.
After about half an hour, Carol was done and she was showing Ron around the house. Ron too was showing off too to make Carol impressed. It only ended in some accident. For example, he was trying to show off that he could sing but he did some big action like opera singers when they stretched out their hands and he accidentally knocked over a priceless vase. Luckily, Carol was able to catch it before it broke into a tiny million pieces. This was due to the martial arts lesson which made her reflexes sharper.
While they were walking, Carol accidentally tripped over the mat and she was falling but Ron tried to grab hold off her to stop her from hitting the hard floor but in the end it ended up with both of them falling. They landed in a position where Ron was on top of Carol and their faces were just inches apart. They could hear each other slow breathing. They both blushed and Carol started to bite her bottom lip. They stayed in that position for a few minutes and slowly Ron was moving in closer and was about to kiss her. Carol's heart was beating ' ba boom ba boom ba boom'. Their lips were about to touch when suddenly...
"Anybody there? I heard a boom." it was Grace. Then she saw the both of them lying there with their faces showing shock. Then they were blinded by some flashes and when their vision was back they saw a red dot. She was filming them. 'Oh crap.' thought Carol. Then they quickly got up.
"Did I appear at a wrong time? Did I ruin your little moment?" teased Grace.
"No it was just an accident. Nothing happened." said Carol almost shouting.
"Or did you want something to happen?" said Grace with her sadist grin. "Anyway I have to go bye. Enjoy your time together and you go tiger." She directed that last phrase at Ron and left calling for Syusuke.
"Why you!" said Carol with her vein popping. "Great now she is calling her partner in crime."
"What do you mean?" asked Ron.
"I think you rather not know." said Carol and he shut up. When they realised that they were alone, they felt embarrassed. "Erm... we still have lots to see." With that she quickly walked out of the house with Ron following behind her.
Soon the trio was settled in and were enjoying themselves very much. They all had a few qudditch matches together and they even had a few basic martial art lessons where they learnt a few basic punches and kicks.
On the third day of their stay, Ron and Carol found themselves alone in a corridor at night (nothing dirty is going to happen) or at least they though they were alone. Ron was about to tell Carol how he felt about her."I like you a lot." they both said quickly. Then they ended up in giggles. Then suddenly there was some shiny powder being sprinkled on them but they could not see who was throwing them. Then Ron pushed Carol against the wall and started to kiss her. Then Carol started to do so too. They felt like they had to and they could not help it."My work here is done." said a voice to itself."This is such great stuff. Revenge has never been this sweet." Said someone and her partner nodded in agreement.-End of Chapter-
