It was the day before they were to go to Hogwarts. Mr Reed had promised them a special surprise. He had told them to bring their swim suits along and prepare some stuff to go to the beach.
By 10am, they were all ready and waiting. Then Mr Reed came down in a tacky Hawaiian shirt, a pair of shorts and flip flops. Everyone had their swimming costumes under their clothes and was wearing slippers. Some had brought beach balls and umbrellas and they all had their towels in their bags.
The limo was outside the house and waiting so all 18 teenagers piled into the vehicle. The ride was about half an hour and on the way there, they saw hills and an unending stretch of beach. It was a beautiful sight. But a more magnificent scene awaited them when they got out of the limo.
When they arrived, they were on a white sandy beach and there was no one insight. It means the whole beach was for their use. The ocean was right before their eyes and was shining due to the sun's rays. It was even more beautiful than the beach at Mr Reed's house.
"Today I have a special treat for you. You get to play with dolphins." said Mr Reed and then he gave a whistle and some dolphins appeared from the beneath the water and they started to make squeaking sounds as if telling them to come to the water. Of course, Kimiko could understand them so she prompted the rest to follow her into the water. The girls followed her but the guys were reluctant as it was too girly/sissy for their macho image. But soon they too entered as they saw the girls having loads of fun splashing around in the water.
To make it even more fun Kimiko called out more animals like otters, seals and even a walrus. The trio wondered where they came from but forgot about it and just had fun. They rode on dolphins, swam with them and they did some tricks with the beach balls. The guys were all thinking how cute the girls were and so were the girls. With a plan formulated by the evil male sadist, they threw all the girls in the water. They wanted revenge but they decide to let it go as they were having so much fun.
They couples each found a spot for themselves and ended up talking and lying on each other. Some actually fell asleep. The rest continued playing and since the trio was not with the rest of the group, they make a small campfire. Carol provided the firewood while Lene made the fire. Then Grace made some food for BBQs appear like marshmallows and chicken wings to cook and drinks using create. Then Laura created a barbeque pit using some metal that was thrown on the beach. It was getting dark so Grace and Syusuke made some small lights using Grace's glow card and Syusuke's power of light. Soon the couples returned and they all had a fun time eating and talking while Mr Reed managed the fire. When all the food was gone, they sat around the fire cooking marshmallows and telling ghost stories. Mr Reed told the scariest stories. The girls were all holding onto the guys as they were scared out of their wits.
Soon they all packed up and went home. They all had such a fun time and they took many pictures to keep as a memory. They all had this picture by the campfire with the lights swirling around them and even the dolphins wanted to be in the picture so they had their heads out of the water.
They all packed their bags to get ready for the next day as they were leaving. They all had an early night as they had a big day ahead of them. -End of Chapter-
