Just came back from the competition at ACJC. Very fun and entertaining. We were able to skip a bit of chemistry. Then we suppose to eat lunch but since they serving 'light' refreshments we did not eat. Then Mrs Poi came to wish us luck since she cannot go because of the awards ceremony so in the end, Miss Ng came with us instead. On the bus we talking a lot of crap. We were also discussing the Malaysia trip and about being volunteers for the sec2 humanities trip. I so want to go and no one can stop me. For the humanities trip, its a 2 night 3 days thing. First day in school and second day at Underwater world. My mom just said ok and I have yet to tell her about my horrible marks. I failed like four subjects and I only told her about 2.
When we went to register, they like could not find our paper all because we never say the CHIJ. Then when they find the paper all the names there not correct. Was wondering whether Mrs Poi got submit the wrong name. Then guess what they type wrongly and thought we were IJ TP. They mixed the schools up. Can you believe it.
Then had this quiz with 30 MCQ. Had to finish in 40 mins but only needed half the time because I have no idea what the answers are. During the quiz, Clementi Town school then come in. They were late and they are like so near. The teacher told Miss Ng that they walk back later. Then when it is done we went for refreshment while they counted the points.
During our lunch, we like took a lot for everything. Then we all share. We were the only school sitting down while the rest stood. During that time we also talked about the quiz answer and we chat somemore. After that we went back.
When we went back, they announced the top 8 schools. Can't remember what they are. When the were announcing, they said st joseph....we thought that it was us but it was SJI. Then they send one person from their school to take part. in the end RGS and St Margrets got kicked out. Later, Anderson sec and Bukit Panjang govt. high gone too. Leaving ACSI, ACSB, RI and SJI. They had to pick question and some were like damn easy for hard questions. The RI guys answer all the hard questions of the economics category. All correct. To them its like chicken feet. At first SJI were like using scissors paper stone to answer the question and them they got a negative score but slowly they got the second place with a score of 14. ACSB got like -9 I think. Then ACSI had 0. RI won obviously with 16 points. When we cheer for SJI everyone look at us because the mc were saying what happen why the noisy bunch no sound. He referring to SJI so we cheer with them.
Later when its done, we went to bluff Mrs Poi say we won something so we can get Swensens from her but to no avail. Then Peggie had to say that when we were up on stage, we use scissors paper stone. Of course pretending, we never even got through preliminary round. Then Stella and I laugh like crazy. She got stomach ache and I laugh till I cried. On the way back on the bus we were like talking crap again and saying how to bluff mrs poi and even miss ng was in on it. she tell us say that the trophy was with them still and were engraving our names. Even miss ng help us to lie to her but mrs poi still don't believe only say she believe theodora. But theodora just say st. joseph won meaning SJI lah so she not really lying. Later even miss ng start laughing and she cried also with her face all red then mrs poi was like ' why you crying?' I wish could have taped that whole scene. Damn funny. We were like laughing and laughing and making loads of noise outside the staff room. But we did enjoy ourselves for the entertainment.
I better go now. Idol starting soon. Ja.
