Just finished adding stuff to my blog. Got a new section on quotes. Will try to change them every once in a while. Just love the skin, can't get enough of it. Hope you love the story. Will try to add another chapter today.
Haven't been writing for a long time and missed out some very interesting stuff. Like the Malaysian trip and the Humanities Camp. Try to fill you in as briefly as possible.
M'sia trip
day1:
Met in school bus came late. had to wait very long to get thru immigration coz we chose the wrong line.
Went for breakfast. Most people makan at cafe while some of us ate at the traditional coffee shop with prata for breakfast. Very nice to eat and damn cheap. Too bad we had to wait so long becos the guy forgot about our orders.
We traveled in a bus which was not bad. I shared seat with jo jo. The seats could go back and there were those leg rester thingys. Too bad leg room too constricted.
First stop was the fruit farm. Saw lots of fruits and some animals. How the fruits are harvested and stuff like that. They gave us a box of fruits so need not buy. Then also got sell honey which a bought 1 bottle and I have no idea where it is now. I think it's been thrown away.
Next was lunch had seafood and it was damn tasty. Wanted to eat more but very piah sei because no one else was eating as we were sitting with people from other classes. Not used to eat so in the end wasted loads of food.
Then went to ostrich farm. The owner was from Singapore. Show as ostrich egg shell damn big the yolk is freaking big. 1 ostrich egg=30 chicken egg. They had rides on the ostrich wanted to go but I too heavy. Wahhhhh! But nevermind. They were selling ostrich eggs but i lucky convinced myself not to buy. Put where only collect dust.
Then went shopping. Never bought much. Very tempting to buy vcds but in the end never. Wanted to buy a pair of flats but too small as usual. So just bought some friendship band string and star paper. Then we left.
Next went to see firefiles. Very hard to see because it just rained. but at least still saw. Peggie accidently took a photo with flash and everyone was like screaming. But all in all it was a great memory.
Then we went for dinner. It was seafood again. Very nice. But this time I sit with the people I know and we did not have enough food to eat. We ate until everything was damn clean.
Then we left for hotel. The trip there very long. On TV the only good thing to watch was Miss Universe and it got boring. Later we played cards with anne and Gerry. Forgot to mention I was staying with Peggie and Stella. We were like taking photos of ourselves in the room. There was the incident with the cockroach which appeared and I caught it with a plastic bag and ran towards the lift lobby to throw. Then we all pray that it would not be able to get out of the dustbin. Then later we watched TV till like 12am for me lah. Watching boston public. The other 2 slept at like 2am.
day2:
Woke at 6 plus I think. I went to bath. The other 2 woke up with the nose running like crazy. Then we all went done for breakfast. The best thing to eat was beehoon and it was going like hot cakes. Always very fast finish. Then we went to our rooms to collect our bags but before that we went to the pool to look see look see. We took pictures there together again. Then we went to our rooms to get our bags. The lift damn long then we were late for the briefing. Then had a lecture by Mrs Poi. After that we left but before we took pictures again at the spiral staircase.
We left for the Johor tourism building. Had a talk about the tourism in singapore. introduced us to some nice places. Offered us some snacks later. Gave us brochures on malaysia. The curry puffs were delish.
Next we had lunch again. It was seafood again. The fish and prawns were damn tasty. We ate till our plates were clean.
Next we visited the fish farm which was like a boat ride across the restaurant. We could have swam there if we could. Then went to see the mangroves using the boat.
Next we saw Kong Kong village and had to see what type of palces there were along that road. Then we went to visit the charcoal farm. The mosquitos there were damn ferocious. Talking about them now is alraedy making me itchy. They damn scary. Everyone was like looking for the off. After the talk on the charcoal farm was over most of us ran back to the bus. My hands and especially my legs had a lot of bites. Lucky Peggie got mopiko.
Then we had a shopping trip before we went back to Singapore. Went to giant to buy some groceries like bread, snacks and sushi. Bought Lene's earing's as well. Wanted to buy clothes but nothing nice. In the end just had an ice cream on the way back to the bus. Then we went home.
Humanities Camp
day1:
Came early. Had to sort out the campers and give them their shirts. My group only had 8 ppl since my group had 2 leaders. Then introduced ourselves and played some games. Had them colour their camp booklets. My group had a great artist- Madeline/Maddy. She could draw damn well. Her book was like filled with seals. Got 2nd for the best book. Next brought them to computer lab and had them do some map thing while we leaders went to labrador park to look around the place. Very sian of walking. We had lunch first. After walking we had loads of time. Started talking crap and me and Theo studyed for our phys test. Next when the campers came, we went to our stations to wait for them. At each station, they had to do finish some questions. But at my station, they had to do a short play on how singaporeans bravely fought against the Japanese. Miss NC was judging them. They all mostly sucked.
When finished, we went back and they all went to bath while we set up the games we prepared for them. Had spider web, dressing up and a lot of running. Became very sweaty and it started to rain. Spider web was most fun. They went again and again and again. Later they had movie. Everyone thought it was some boring documentary but it was 13 going on 30. Love that movie. But me, thee, Peggy and jocelyn went to bath while the other 3 went to jaga the campers. After finish, there was supper and then light's out. We leaders had a debrief and made sure the campers were asleep then we too went to sleep.
day2:
woke up at 5 plus to use toilet but a lot of campers beat us to it. Then had breakfast and a game which had to use computers and lots of running again. Waited to leave for sentosa. Then had lunch at siloso beach. Next had the amazing race. Quite fun. But still damn tiring. At the 2nd last stop I changed with Theo cause I was too tired. They forgot their booklet again. Had to race for the bus to give it to them. Went back with Miss Shereen. Then lucky even though they were the last group, they made it in time. Then had free time until 5 plus which we would proceed to underwater world. One of my campers lost their phone and glasses in the water.
Then we had a talk from the ppl there and the campers went to bath. Next had dinner. It was damn nice lor. We also had some tourists who said that they wanted to 'try' the food but in the end they took so much just to make it their dinner. Then later we had the campers go to underwater world(UWW) for some looking around and intro about the animals there by us. Next went to see the musical fountain. Felt very tired by then so not very awake during the show. Then we went back to bath while there was a video going on. Then they had a quiz where they needed to go to UWW to find the answers. Had supper. Then later we moved into UWW to sleep. Took the campers damn long to settle down. By the time sleep it was already 1am I think. Then some of us had meeting with teachers which was to makan cheese cake. Miss Teh very cute. We say cannot eat becos later must brush teeth but she say during camp no need to brush one lah. She also say use the orange skin as air freshener. Then went to sleep.
day3: woke up about 6 plus went to brush teeth. Too lazy too bath. Too troublesome too. Then had breakfast. Next we had the campers watch a video. Went to UWW shop to buy stuff and went to dolphin lagoon. The dolphin lagoon very fun. We could touch them. They fell very rubbery. Next time I want to go back there and work. Next we went back to UWW. Had to tally up the scores and had them to do cheers. My group damn embarrassing lor they don wanna say only maddie and nella were the ones doing it. Finished and we went back to show gave out prizes took group photo then went home. But I damn tired I tell you that I couldn't study physics at all.
